The site of the Yellow __ is an old one, the first structure being a log building in 1733 that was burnt by Tories and Indians on April 3, 1780. In 1882 its fourth building was erected on the same site. Today a state marker notes its location on a road that bears its name.
The Inghams Mills Dam and power plant, constructed in 1908-1912, produced a three mile __ which led to camps on Keyser __.
Augustus Beardslee (1801-1873), who served as town supervisor (1828-29) and state assemblyman (1834) is credited with building in 1860 Beardslee Manor, or __, as we know it today.

Faville __, a scenic spot to visit today, was named for Capt. John Faville (1749-1817) who built a grist and saw mill there in 1795.
The Little Falls and Dolgeville Railroad ran entirely within the county and opened on December 14, 1892. It crossed Ransom Creek which necessitated a high __ 100 feet high - a dangerous place where local village boys would play, including my father!
At the point where the bridge is in Inghams Mills, the East Canada Creek forms the boundary line between Herkimer and __ Counties.
The towns of __ and Manheim were established in Montgomery County in 1797, taken from the town of Palatine; they were added to Herkimer County in 1817.
The town of Manheim has one village, Dolgeville, and two hamlets, __ Mills, and Hendrick Manor (near Bidleman Rd. and Route 167).
The first rural __ line in New York State was in Manheim on Snells Bush Road providing electricity to the farmers, courtesy of the G. R. Beardslee Light and Power Company in 1901. A 50th celebration of the event was held on June 30, 1951 on the grounds of the Snells Bush Church.
