The official designation and/or nomenclature of the acquisition program being reported (e.g.: "AAG - Advanced Arresting Gear").

The OPNAV principal official responsible for an identifiable aggregation of resources that constitute inputs to warfare and supporting tasks.
Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Production & Deployment, or Operations & Support
The Acquisition Category of the Program, dependent on the forecasted expenditure of dollars, type (MAIS, MDAP, etc.) and the other factors as determined by the USD(AT&L).
Milestone Decision Authority - the designated official who has overall responsibility for a major acquisition program within DoD, whether MDAP or MAIS.
Program Number - a Major Defense Acquisition Program/Major Automated Information System-unique three-digit numeric/alphanumeric identifier. It is a reference designator used to group related acquisition programs for the purpose of integrated reporting and oversight of MDAP and MAIS programs.
Militarily useful and supportable operational capabilities that can be effectively developed, produced, acquired, deployed and sustained. Each will have its own set of threshold and objective values set by the user.
