Lasts longer than 24 hours and can be weekly, monthly, or annually. It lasts longer than the circadian rhythm. Examples: Menstrual cycle and seasonal affective disorder (SAD).
Syncronization of organisms to an external rhythm. Example: Participating in an exercise class that does aerobics to tempo music.
