Across
It is the act of moving something forward. It is the force that pushes a rocket into space, that sends a football spiraling toward a receiver's hands, and that moves a strongly kicking swimmer through the water.
When two forces acting on an object are not equal in size. It can cause a still object to move, a moving object to speed up or slow down.
It is the distance traveled per unit of time.
Velocity - (distance v. time) Acceleration - (velocity v. time) In each circumstance, time is shown on the x-axis. The graph of velocity is a curve while the graph of acceleration is linear.
