Across
The characteristics of something. In math, it's the characteristics of that number.
This is important when solving math problems because it means to never give up and to keep attempting the problem.
This kind of number only has one set of factors; 1 and itself. Examples: 1, 2, 3, 5
A math statement that says one side equals the other; it includes the math sentence, an equal sign, and the answer.
This is created when you combine numbers with a multiplication sign and multiply no matter how many numbers there are. Example: 2 x 3 x 2
These group numbers together for a reason. Examples of these include parentheses and brackets.
This kind of number always has a "buddy," and 2 will always be a factor.

You get this kind of number when you skip count. It is always divisible by the number you are skip counting by.
A plan to solve a problem and there may be more than one way. Not everyone may use the same.
To find the factors of a number that are all prime. The strategy we use involve factor trees.
A math sentence that does not include an equal sign or an answer.
A number that has more than one set of factors; not only can 1 and itself go into it, but so can other numbers! Examples: 4, 6, 8, 9
A number that when multiplied with another number produces a product; it's what makes up a multiplication expression.
