Across

When all parts of the artwork seems to work together as a team - that it all blends together nicely/collectively/effectively.

A large difference between two, (or more) things. Example: rough and smooth; or light and dark. This art technique usually adds to the interest of an artwork - such as more dramatic, or exciting.

A Change in form, shape, detail, or appearance - that makes the object/artwork different from others.
An area in a work of art that catches and holds the viewer's attention. The area usually has contrasting shapes, colors, sizes, or other distinctive features.
A type of visual or actual MOVEMENT in an artwork. Can be created by repeating visual elements. This is often described as regular, alternating, flowing, progressive, or jazzy.
The way a surface feels - or how it may look. Can be sensed by touch and sight. Can be described with words such as: rough, smooth, silky, pebbly, hairy, bumpy, etc.
