On May 1, 1991, I was the catcher in Nolan Ryan’s 7th and final career no-hitter.
I was 16-12 for the Rangers in 2006.
I had a 25-year major league career which included pitching for the Rangers in 1989 and 1990. In 2012 while with the Rockies, I became the oldest person in major league history to record a win.
I signed as a free agent with the Rangers in 1995. Primarily a catcher previously, I played mainly as the RF, DH, and an occasional 1B because of the presence of Ivan Rodriguez on the team. In ‘96, I contributed to the Rangers’ AL West Title run by driving in 83 Runs.
I am remembered for punching Jose Bautista in the face during a game with the Blue Jays in 2016.
In 1992, I was signed as an amateur free agent by the Rangers at age 17. My son currently plays for the Padres.
I had 12 wins for the Rangers in 1988, 2nd on the team to Charlie Hough’s 15 victories. 3 of the 12 wins were complete game shutouts.

I was traded from the Yankees along with Joaquin Arias for Alex Rodriguez in 2004. My first year with the Rangers, I was the starting AL 2nd baseman in the All-Star game.
I was an utility infielder for the Rangers from 1983-1988. In 1984, I was the Rangers’ Rookie of the Year. I have also coached in the Royals and Pirates organizations and was the manager of the Tarrant County Blue Thunder of the independent Continental Baseball League.

I participated in the Little League World Series in 2004 and 2005, winning the title in ‘04 and coming in 2nd in ‘05. I also played for Team Netherlands in the World Baseball Classic in 2013, 2017, and 2023.
I was a catcher for the Rangers from 1985-1993. In 1987, I became the first Ranger catcher in history to hit over .300 for the season when I hit .302 in 101 games.
I was the Rangers closer in 2012 and 2013. I made the AL All-Star team both those years, and recorded 80 saves in my 2-year Ranger career.
In 2019, I had a MLB leading ERA of 2.40 at the All-Star break, and was selected to the AL All-Star team. I finished the 2019 season with a record of 14-10 with a 3.59 ERA.
I played center field for the Rangers in 1990 and 1991. I was also a coach for the Rangers in 2007-2014, and I am currently a coach for the Astros. In my career, I won 5 gold gloves.
I had 3 stints with the Rangers: 1993-1998, 2000-2001, 2010-2011 as both a starting pitcher and a reliever. I joined the Ranger front office in 2014 as Special Assistant to then General Manager Jon Daniels.
